'WELCOME to my BARRE FITNESS EXERCISE CHALLENGE - Commit to BarreFit. Each 10 MIN AT HOME BARRE WORKOUT OUTDOORS can be done with minimal equipment, simply a sturdy chair or counter top. And you can enjoy the class taught OUTDOORS in the beautiful DOOR COUNTY WISCONSIN. I will be uploading a new 10 min video every Monday and Wednesday morning, with BONUS Fridays to give you a variety of barre moves. This first video is technically 15 min long but I provide a lot of explanation on the correct posture and movement to protect you from injury and provide those new to barre a little more information on this modality. What is BARRE? Barre class is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates, that focuses on low-impact, high intensity movements designed to strengthen and tone your body in ways that few other workouts can. Barre helps strengthen and tone your muscles without increasing bulk, and it improves your posture. It also increases cardiovascular endurance and metabolism, which helps to quickly burn calories. Regular barre workouts can increase your bone density, which can help prevent conditions like osteoporosis. These short barre classes will be the perfect introduction to those who are beginners and a good challenge for those who are familiar with this type of workout. It is only 10 min but enough to get you going for the day. I will also be adding cues and tips for you to bear in mind when taking future barre classes.
